There are many variations of fittings to suit a wide range of applications, providing the versatility to achieve any structural configuration. Kee Klamp fittings are galvanized malleable iron castings designed to suit eight sizes of tube. A standard hex key and tube cutters are the only tools required to create strong, rigid structures. Recessed set screws, tightened by the hex key, firmly lock the tube into the fitting. The setscrew is manufactured in casehardened steel and is coated to protect against corrosion. Stairs, Ramps, and Walkways To help builders, contractors and specifiers ensure that all commercial and public buildings satisfy the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Building Regulations Pt. M : 2004, Kee Klamp Ltd has introduced a new series of galvanised cast iron fittings. Under the terms of the DDA, all commercial and public building owners are obliged to provide non-discriminatory access.
The Building Regulations recommend an outside diameter tube size for such installations of between 40mm-45mm. The new 500 Series of Kee Klamp® fittings is specifically designed to give a smooth handrail with size 7 tube (outside diameter 42.4mm) and is therefore compatible with the recommendations when attached to a size 8 (48.3 o/d) upright.
When and where required, the 500 Series can be easily augmented with fittings from the established Kee Klamp® fittings series to create a complete, cost-effective answer to DDA and Building Regulation requirements. The new fittings can be powder coated in a choice of RAL colours to meet the visibility and “not cold to the touch” requirements of the Regulations. Quality
Our stringent quality control process begins with the design of the 500 Series. The same strict guidelines are then implanted in the manufacturing process, where the consistency and quality of all materials used are closely monitored. The 500 Series are iron castings, galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461. For added protection from rust, the grubscrews are Kee Koat® protected, offering up to four times greater protection than Bright Zinc Plated grubscrews. The thread recesses have a ThredKoat(TM) coating. Together these coatings offer unrivalled protection from rust, within the Fittings market. Kee Klamp Ltd is an ISO 9001 Quality Assured Company, ensuring strength and consistency strength and consistency of manufacturing quality for the 500 Series of handrail fittings.

The new Kee Klamp® 500 Series incorporates a total of nine new fittings and is supplied with versatility, ease and speed of installation in mind. Ideal for use in creating new structures, the series can also be used as a retrofit solution, because it includes an “Add-on” offset fitting which allows a new handrail to be added onto an existing structure of appropriate size.

Stairwells
Every stairway floor opening should be guarded by a standard railing on all exposed sides except at the entrance of the stairway.
Manholes
Every manhole floor opening should be protected by removable standard railings.
 Ladderways
Every ladderway floor opening or platform should be guarded by a standard railing on all exposed sides except the opening. The passage through the railing should either be a swinging gate or so offset that a person cannot walk directly into the opening.
 Machinery
Regardless of height, all open-sided floors, walkways, platforms, or runways above or adjacent to dangerous equipment, pickling or galvanizing tanks, degreasing units, and similar hazards should be guarded with a standard railing.
Rooftop/Platform Edges
All open-sided floors or platforms significantly above ground level should be guarded by a standard railing on all open sides except where there is an entrance to a ramp, stairway, or fixed ladder.

The Kee Anchor system is a modular dead weight anchor,
for use with Personal Protection Equipment conforming to EN 795: 1996 Class E
and can be used on mineral felt and single ply membrane.
| | |  |  | | | It is designed for use on roofs where there are no permanent guardrails, such as KeeGuard®, or other anchor devices, in order to allow safe freedom of movement around the roof space. The Kee Anchor system offers the solution to the problem of minimal time maintenance operations for those jobs requiring occasional roof access. The system's modular components have been designed for ease of assembly on site and for transporting the system to site.
Another bonus of the Kee Anchor system is that the weights are interchangeable with the KeeGuard system, thus ensuring safety whilst fitting a KeeGuard system and ease of disassembly as the weights can be integrated into the KeeGuard system. For added safety all of the weights that come into contact with the roof are fitted with protective anti-slip rubber pads.
The Kee Anchor system offers a low maintenance , reliable and simple to assemble answer to working at heights requiring no drilling, special anchorage or penetration of the roof membrane. All components are zinc coated to ensure long lasting corrosion resistance and the grubscrews used in the system are case hardened featuring KeeKoat® protection.
